Spring steel is a special steel designed for making all kinds of elastic components, featured by high elastic limit, good fatigue resistance and sufficient toughness. We supply two main categories: non-alloy (carbon) spring steel and alloy spring steel, available in hot-rolled round bar, flat bar, strip. Strictly produced in accordance with GB/T1222, also meet ASTM, DIN, JIS standards. Mill Test Certificate is provided per batch for chemical composition and mechanical property.

Carbon (Non-alloy) Spring Steel

Grades: 65#, 70#, 75#, 85#
Carbon spring steel is high-carbon steel only contains carbon and manganese, without additional alloy elements.
1.Features
Good surface elasticity, low cost
Disadvantage:poor hardenability,only suitable for thin-wall, small-size spring parts, cannot be used for thick-section heavy-load components.
2.Typical Application
Spring washer, spring clip, small mechanical spring, hardware elastic parts, general-purpose elastic accessories.
3.Available Forms
Hot-rolled round bar, flat bar, steel strip, spring wire. Standard length 6m, custom length acceptable.

Alloy Spring Steel

Grades: 65Mn, 60Si2Mn, 60Si2MnA, 50CrVA

Alloy spring steel is added with manganese, silicon, chromium, vanadium alloying elements on the basis of carbon steel. Greatly improved hardenability, elastic limit and anti-fatigue performance. Suitable for heavy-load and repeated-stress working conditions.

Feature: Cost-effective alloy spring steel, balanced strength and toughness.
Usage: Spring plate, clutch disc, medium-load springs, spring clips.
60Si2Mn / 60Si2MnA
Feature: Classic silicon-manganese spring steel, high elastic limit, excellent fatigue resistance.
Usage: Automobile leaf spring, vehicle suspension spring, large-size heavy-load mechanical springs.
50CrVA

- Cold-rolled strip / wire: Wrapped with waterproof paper + steel strapping. Coils are fixed tightly for ocean shipment.
- Seaworthy export packing, suitable for long-distance sea freight.

2.Shipping
